Julio Lugo

Post by Astros »

It appears Mr. Lugo played last week, after going on the MLB DL on July 12th (Saturday).

I believe that would constitute a DL violation.

That's kind of a painful way for it to happen. You'd think if a GM sent in a roster update and it wasn't input, then its kind of hard to put the blame on the GM???

You would. What happened was that my internet at home was shot to hell and Gmail wouldn't load (either the IBC version or the regular version), so I sent an updated lineup to JP over AIM, which he clearly missed. So not only do I get the DL violation of Lugo but I wasn't able to get Konerko activated to play JB. It's OK though, still my division :D

Ah, I don't feel quite so bad for you now, can't blame JP too much for not seeing an AIM lineup update sent to him.

You got lucky I couldn't activate Soriano or Percy this week......going to have to struggle through with the makeshift bullpen for one more week. The division isn't wrapped up yet. I'm coming for ya, and Hell's coming with me!

You didn't receive a file, you received an IM while you were away. It's a non-issue as long as Keppy stays healthy.

That's not exactly any way to go about sending or giving a roster instruction at all. Sometimes I don't even get IM's while I'm away, so to blame it on me is 100% ridiculous. So thank yourself for not having the roster not sent in.

Calm yourself. I'm not complaining about anything. My bad luck you missed it, DL violation for Lugo.
