I don't believe this guy should be pitching for the Padres in the IBC.....he's out for the season. This is from back on April 12th.

Macay McBride will undergo surgery to fix a torn ligament in his left elbow and will be out for the rest of the season.
McBride, 25, went 0-1 with a 6.11 ERA in 20 appearances with the Tigers last season. He should be ready by spring training next year.
