Re: Orioles traded Henry Bolte to Reds for Astros Draft Pick 2
Orioles & Reds are the 19th & 20th teams to make a trade this off-season. 2/3 of the league trading already seems pretty good.

Re: December 2025 Trades
The above is interesting. Going by date of last trade, my team should be in clear decline but roster spots remain tight. At what point is a farm system a pipeline and not merely a trade bank? Nils certainly churns more guys than I do through add/drops. Perhaps that is why he is able to sneak guys through waivers even though he and I tend to target the same type of players. For the last year and a half it feels like I have lost a bunch of talent in waivers.
Of the last 20 drops I've posted:
Sebastian 24-Dos Santos
Haritzon 24-Castillo
Jeremy Wu-Yelland
Mike Yastrzemski
Johanfran 22-Garcia
Tucker 23-Musgrove
Junior Perez
Brandan 0-Bidois
Jhorman 24-Bravo
Christian 0-Zazueta
Shane Drohan
Joyner 24-Perez
Yordanny Monegro
Anderson 24-Araujo
Alex Cobb
Jostin 24-Ogando
Jorge 23-Quintana
Jovani 0-Moran
Rayven 23-Antonio
Roc Riggio
12 are currently rostered in the IBC. Wu-Yeland and Bidois were speculatory relief arms I held while I researched them and released before their ZiPS. 5 were '24's, where reports trump stats and the hit rate is likely less than 15% and finally one Alex Cobb who I had signed just in case I had injury issues and needed an extra arm before the 9/1 post-season roster eligibility deadline.
Ideally one would like to be able to churn the bottom 5 slots in the roster with impunity. Maybe lose 30% or 1/3. My reality is I've been losing 60% or if you remove my RP vanity projects 2/3 of the guys I cut. Either way it injects liquidity into the league. Just to the guys who are watching the waiver wire instead of feeding the serial traders.
That being said, I will probably only make 2-3 picks in the draft and am open to adding MLB talent after Zippy gets done celebrating the holidays with Ai cartoons and releases the last dozen teams.

Re: December 2025 Trades
Pat T, you may not have any off-season deals, but you do have 2 of the better off-season quotes:
