World Series
In my lifetime, I've typically held 2011 (Cardinals/Rangers), 2016 (Cubs/Indians) and of course 2004 (Red Sox/Cardinals) as the best World Series I've watched. 2025 might top them all. An 18-inning beast of a game, perhaps the best player ever, Trey Yesavage's masterclass after starting the year in A ball, Vlad's ascent, the Dodgers' massive payroll against the scrappy Jays. What a great series. Admittedly, I was rooting for Toronto, but it was really fun baseball.

Re: World Series
Those were all classics, and I'd agree that 2025 belongs among them, though it does have one massive thing that none of those had.
The Greatest Player Ever.
Watching Ohtani play leaves me in awe the way it felt watching Bonds or Pedro... only he's both dudes (game 7 struggles on the mound take zero shine off his star). Incredible.
