Sigh, no..

I sent in my HDD that had crashed, patiently awaiting its recovery as well as my lost data. The data was unrecoverable, and the HDD was not able to be saved either. This took quite some time, as I had to mail the HDD to the manufacturer, had to correspond with them via phone during their business hours, etc. Ended up a fruitless excersize, that I got nothing out of.

In late Nov, my last remaining internet access on my palm treo, was killed after I performed a "hard reset" on the device when it no longer recognized my SDCard. This turned out to be a huge mistake, after resetting, it is now stuck in a permanent booting loop. Resets over and over. Talked with Palm on the 26th, they have asked me to mail it into their repair center. I'm having visions of the HDD scenario all over again. So, I'm looking at cheap PC's and Phones - yet again. Have to make a determination of which one I need more, as unless I can find good enough deals on both, I'll probably have to get a fuckin phone before I do a computer.

Yes, life hasn't gotten any better for me in the remainder of the year. But Nate is gonna be great in 08. It couldn't possibly get any worse.. could it?

Got a new machine, got spotty but free wireless from somewhere here in my complex.. w00t.

I don't want to say "i'm back" yet.. but things look pretty good for now.
