Suggested Draft halt

I may be the only person that objects to JB's deal with Brandon, but until that is clear, it may be best to hold off on any additional picks until it's resolved, otherwise there exists the possibility that the picks get swapped back after the draft picks are made.
Yet another reason why there shouldn't be pick trading during a draft.

Is this a suggestion or an edict?

It's dumb, it reeks of sour grapes, and it can't be an edict...

This reminds me of when some of us used to try to fillibuster trades Josh made. Did the ExCo vote on this? I see no ruling from them

Is the ExCo discussing halting the draft and changing the rules in the middle of it? I would hope not.

Or is the ExCo discussing rejecting JB's trade? I don't think there has been sufficient objections raised to have it be reviewed. In the other thread there has only been 1 GM who has supported having the trade reviewed.

There's no rules being changed. We're discussing halting the draft until it's clear that JB's trade won't go to a veto. ExCo itself can't reject a trade.

Precisely.
And I wouldn't have even suggested a draft halt without discussing the question with another ExCo member first, in this case JP. As JP said at the time, i was the one with the objection so I should post the suggestion. In retrospect, it may have been better if JP made the suggestion, but I agreed with him at the time.

I still think it was OK for you to make the suggestion.
