Add another one to the list of ranks filling out the Japanese league this coming season.


Free agent Matt Kinney has agreed to a one-year deal to play with the Seibu Lions of Japan.

Kinney, who spent much of 2002 and 2003 in the majors with the Twins and pitched briefly for the Giants in 2005, went 12-10 with a 4.02 ERA for Triple-A Fresno last season.
