How awful would that move for the Giants be?

I think it'd more likely be Cain which isn't as bad to me, but I can't say I'd like either for them.

Giants need young position players, but that's a hefty price.

If they threw in Raja Davis and Got Marcum back, it would make more sense I guess.

All the radio stations out here are reporting that its Cain, not Lincecum on the block in this one, and that the deal would be built around those two, not just straight up. If they can find a way to get Marcum back as well I don't think its an awful deal.

completely contrary to what Heyman from SI just reported. He said the Giants are bent on keeping Cain over Lincecum.

That's what I've heard also.....Giants would prefer to move Lincecum before moving Cain. And Toronto wants Cain over Lincecum...

Interesting. It's always interesting to hear what KNBR has to say since they are part owners of the team. I really doubt anything is going to get done.
