Great friggin game though. The last time I've ever experienced a game like this is '01 when the Pats drove to win the SB.
I sure hope the Pats work on tackling drills this week. Some piss poor effort by the old linebacking corps.

Two things you almost never see:
1. 1st and 1.
2. A kickoff from the other teams 35 yard line.
A lot of dropped balls too.

also, at this point, it's hard to believe anyone else is going to come close to beating them. two in a row is gonna be more than enough for them to get their shit in order. i would expect blowouts from here on out. Pitt is the only one with a chance.
all i can really hope for now is that they greedy and go for 16-0 and don't rest anybody against the Giants. i think it'll do more harm than good when it comes playoff time. ideally they'd lose moss or brady or both.

16-0 and shoving it up Don Shulas ass.....ecstatic.

week 17, you think the Giants are playing anybody? they can't do any better than a wild card and a 5 or 6 seed. so they won't be playing for a damn thing in week 17.

Belicheck must have been using some Jedi mind-trick stuff on the Ravens to get that many bad penalties on that drive. I have never seen a team melt down like that, and they even avoided another personal foul on Ed Reed for taking his helmet off after that 4th down holding call on Jermaine Winborn. This is what happens when the inmates run the asylum, Billick needs to fired.

forget even tonights game, but I think refs in both college and and pro football need to take a page out of the NHLs book. Calling penaltys on ify plays just cant happen when it completely changes the game. Im not talking about pushing someone down, or grabbing someone by the face mask. Im talking about those ridiculous illegal contact and defensive holding on 3rd and 4th downs and gives them the automatic 1st down. I've been a huge hockey fan for 10 years now, and ive yet to see in a close game ESPECIALLY in the playoffs an ify penalty called. They let them play. They let them get physical because thats what hockey is, a physical sport just like football is. In a hockey game if its the 1st period and someones stick gets caught between someones legs and pulls them down it will be a tripping penalty everytime. But in the 3rd period of a stanley cup playoff game or even a hard played 2-2 tie late in the 2nd game of the season, it is never called. But in football when u grab a small part of the jersey, not even a handful, the yellow flys out everytime. Im sick and tired of the refs taking the game out of the players hands.

Hey, if you don't like those Defensive holding calls, go blame the Colts.

Yup, the Colts would prefer that football be a non-contact sport.

Why don't you guys go cheat some more?
If Gaffney played for the Ravens and made that TD catch, they'd have overturned it. But they weren't going to overturn it because its the Pats, and Tom Brady would bitch and complain like a little pussy. Pats have no defense, and its gonna kill them in the playoffs

Gaffney had control of the football the entire time. I dont see how that can be argued.
I love the "conspiracy" aspect of crying after you didnt play a complete game. ESPN showed just how silly the Ravens are. Rex Ryan must be working for the Patriots. He called the timeout that gave the Pats another chance. #22 of the Ravens(who cares about the name), made the stupidest play of the game by tackling Moss on the backside of the play, he must have been bribed by the NFL. Stephen Neal loves 4th and 6 better than 4th and 1, which could be the only reason he went offsides. Bart Scott likes it when the opposing team kicks from his 35, its the only reason to explain why he kept jarring at the official and then threw his flag into the stands, hell he could be getting paid off too. Are you honestly going to lose your cool and throw a temper tantrum because he called you a boy? You lost the game for yourself.
Im done. 12-0. Bring on the Steelers.

This Pats team just reminds me a lot of the 05 Colts, great offense that can be flustered with creative defensive schemes that blitz a lot and a defense with a lot of holes. Colts fans weren't blind and full of shit in 05, we knew there were risks, especially playing a 3-4 team like Pittsburgh. But, Pats fans have always been full of shit, that comes with being from the Northeast

Don't get on the Colts. They're the only team to ever complain? No one on the Pats ever complains? Please. Don't whine about other people whining either. It defeats the purpose.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist. At least not about this. I will say that the refs did take the game out of the players hands. However, they didn't call anything that didn't happen, so you can't argue that. Possession of the football on the last TD can absolutely be argued and you're an idiot to think that it can't be. The ball was moving around. Enough to be overturned? I don't know. But it was moving.
Also, if you're a Pats fan, you really shouldn't whine about anything. Other people have a right to hate your team. First, they cheated. I don't care what you say about it. if anyone knows what its like to stick by and defender a cheater, it's me, but in the end they still cheated.
Second, the media treats them as if no one has ever done what they've accomplished. It was what? Two year ago when the Colts were 13-0? How quickly they forget everything that isn't from the northeast.
You've got it made right now. You're team is on top of the world. To expect others to not want to bring them down, and voice frustration when they are continuously let off the hook, is ridiculous.

That Gaffney catch bumped me from my Survivor Pool - BUT - he did catch it. His fingertips never came off the ball and he was in possession of it the entire time. I hate the Pats, but to say that wasn't a catch is just wrong.
