Worst GMs of the IBC

Post by DBacks »

To go along with my "Things to Check Out" Series here at Cubalicious, I will be adding a series that I've wanted to do for a long time entitled "The Worst GMs of the IBC."

This will not include any current GMs, because that's just mean, but will showcase and individually profile the worst GMs of the past. So please, nominate your favorites with a comment in this thread. If you have any stories or memories of these GMs, please take the time to send it to me in a PM, or leave it here if you must. I would like to combine everyone's stories into one large, comical profile for each guy.

So, if you know anything about the guys who get nominated, please share the info. How they got into the league? Who recommended them? Stupid trades? Ignorant comments? Anything at all will help. This should be a fun trip down memory lane for a lot of us.

I will kick off the nominating process with the guy I still feel is the worst, and luckiest GM of all time - Pickett.

Pickett was awesome!

I also nominate the two-headed monster Chrash!

Joe was probably worse, but a great argument can be made for Pickett.

I'm not senior enough to remember those guys, but I do want to heartily nominate Bobby Tierney and Matt LeRoy, two genuine geniuses of poorly planned terrible teams.

Bobby would only consider giving up Livan Hernandez if I gave him Haren and a corner IF shortly before he left.

Who was that conspiracy theorist we had in the first month of the league who caused so much shit that he was booted almost immediately?
