Don't ask for something and expect to give up nothing.

It might work for JB, but it won't work for you. And it certainly won't work on me.

I understand you have guys you don't want to move. I'm the same way. But don't come asking about players and expect me to trade them to you for nothing. Maybe we don't match up. Fine. No big deal. We both move on and nobody cares. That's the way it works. But don't imply that I'm unreasonable for wanting quality in return for quality. Why would I deal you players for guys I'm not interested in or I don't need?

Maybe the losing record this season fooled you. Maybe Aaron's banner has made some of you forget about mine. But I'm not an idiot, and talking to me as if I'm one will only get me pissed off.

That is all.

I thought about asking about Ronnie Belliard from your trade block, but I'm going to assume he's worth more to you than he would be to me, so I didn't bother.

good thing. i love me some ronnie belliard.

its simple. you want someone good, fine. but dont get offended when i ask for something good in return. it's really not a difficult concept to grasp. that's all i'm saying.
