In real life, the Mets newly acquired RF Delmon Young swung at 51.4% of the first pitches he saw (leading the major leagues topping Vlad's 48.0%) ... he will likely get the take sign in IBC HtH games occasionally.

Again, in real life, Matt Lindstrom, who had the highest average fastball among all pitchers with 50 or more innings (96.6), led the NL with 9 pitches at or above 100 mph.
Intentional walks

I HATE INTENTIONAL WALKS! In real life, BostonÃs Terry Francona's pitchers issued 20, two fewer than AnaheimÃs Mike Scioscia, five fewer than St. Louis Tony LaRussa. There are likely a few times intentional walks make sense ... but you will not see them very often from the IBC Mets - and never in a HtH game with the IBC Mets!

Doesn't mean much with the way teams dial up their radar guns.

I guess it is all relative if all the pitchers are all pitching before all the same radar guns that are all dialed up ...
Actually these initial facts or quirks are tidbits from Bill James 2008 book as I spend some off-season time enjoying the book and attempting to apply some of it to the 2008 IBC Mets ....

Unfortunately, they don't all dial it up the same. Some don't dial it up at all, others dial it up quite a bit and still others dial it up for certain pitchers. Randy Johnson had some questionable numbers popping up in AZ this season in the game I watched.
