Public enemy number 1. Hate that bastard, even though he grew up in Omaha and I played against his Dad a few times in a summer league (he was the old guy crushing with a wood bat) and the bomb off Familia was glorious.
Great game, Maddon dustyed the eighth inning, Chapman should've been in against Belt to start the inning and Almora should've been in for Heyward.

Almora should've been switched for Zobrist not Heyward.

There's one guy every playoffs that gets signed based on big October hits.
Who remembers Augie Ojeda!!!

His Dad should've made the the show. He was on that Mississippi St. team with Bobby Thigpen, Rafael Palmeiro and my other most-hated Giant Will Clark (89 NLCS, pulled a Daniel Murphy). Looks like he was derailed by injuries.

Started with the Cubs, lot of fans loved him for his grindiness. He could barely hit the ball out of the infield.

I remember a big controversy one year when Dave Taylor traded Jeff Mathis after a big postseason and everyone flipped out. Dave correctly pointed out he sucked and had a hot streak and Mathis never did anything.

Helluva memory you have, Aaron. Amazing the universe didn't end, Dave was spot on with a baseball opinion.

Thank you for posting a link to Z's prophetic prediction of winning the 2010 IBC Championship...has that already happened or are we still waiting for 2010?

Still can't believe he managed to get back for the WS. We'll see if he ends up playing the field in Chicago.

My wife and I went to the game last night in Cleveland. Absolutely awesome to see a Cubs World Series win in person, totally worth the 10+ hours driving back and forth + $2k on the tickets.
Schwarber's unbelievable, at this point I fully expect him to homer tomorrow night in his pinch hit appearance.
