I'm trying to get signed up for MLB.TV, but every device I use, it says cannot download the app, from phones to tablets, Android and iOS.
Is anyone using it successfully?

Looks like I was being too literal. I was trying to use the MLB.TV app, which is on the Play/App store but says it doesn't work for any of my devices. Closer review on MLB.com shows all the functionality has been moved to the MLB At-Bat app and the MLB.TV app has been left on the app stores solely to create confusion.

Yeah, you gotta use the At Bat app. Did you get it working?

My subscription automatically renewed this year.. forgot to cancel. Oh well, a year of MLB isn't bad. Even though the Reds are going to stink, at least I get to watch some of the young guns play.

Anyone taking advantage of the team deals they're doing this year?

I thought about just doing the Cardinals only deal cause that's 95% of what I watch, but I knew there'd be some summer nights I want to listen to Vin Scully

I've had no issues at all. Must be user-related for you.

I just assumed Bren was too small to read print on the top of the screen.

The team-only package isn't cheap enough to entice me to buy it. It's what, an extra $20 something for the whole year for all games?

Do they still black out local teams? I'd drop directtv in a heartbeat if I could stream the Red Sox.

Directv includes MLB.TV when you buy their Extra Innings package.

Yeah, unfortunately if you're in one of the "home" coverage areas, you're SOL for watching live games with your team, unless you have a cable subscription.

Every time the Red Sox play the Rays (TB is a four hour drive), games get blacked out. As they do for Fox/ESPN games. I end up losing a lot of games that way. I may still get it at some point, though. Haven't decided.

Yes they do, however I was under the impression that this went away when you bought the "team specific" package. I'm probably wrong however.

The Reds broadcast territory includes all of Tennessee for some reason

True story, at 35, I've grown an inch in the past year. I'm 5'8"...5'9" in the right shoes.

MLB is aiming to offer in-network coverage by 2017. If they do not then they will be unable to raise prices until 2020.

Standing on your tiptoes doesn't count as growing, Z.

Team specific still blacks out local games (according to the T&C). Which is still bullshit, though living in Rockies country it's not much of an issue for me.
