Yadi Molina

Post by Cardinals »

Pat G requested that we look at Molina. Molina underwent surgery today on his thumb.

Since I'm involved, I'd just go ahead and make my argument in this post. He played the first three games of the NLDS, came out in the third, was originally in the lineup in G4 but was scratched. He was not taken off the roster, and the Cards gave no indication they'd remove him from the roster for a G5 or the NLCS.

It seemed like a pain tolerance thing and that Yadi was going to play as much as he could as long as the Cards were in it.

The Cardinals weren't going to replace Yadi with Ed Easley under any circumstances. He can play

That he couldn't even pitch hit in the abysmal 5th game is damning ... I say out ...
