Haha, there was a committee set up to do power rankings prior to spring as well.

All the information you need to make a well informed opinion.

A new power ranking should be out in the near future.

That was before TJs and other random injuries to Pat G's team ;)

OK I'll go ahead and go first:

AL East: Baltimore
AL Central: Detroit
AL West: Texas
Wild Cards: Boston, Kansas City

I expect it to be a pretty big three-team race between Tigers, Royals and Twins in the AL Central, and it won't shock me to see any of those three teams win the division.

NL East: Philadelphia
NL Central: Pittsburgh
NL West: San Francisco
Wild Cards: Miami, Cincinnati

Either one of Miami and Philly can easily win the East (and NL), but injuries already biting Miami make me lean Philly to start the season. I expect Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Arizona, Colorado to contend throughout the year, as well as Chicago. Ken's teams always find a way to win and I don't see why this year is any different.

ALCS: Baltimore over Detroit
NLCS: Pittsburgh over Philadelphia

Jose Fernandez coming back will help push Sander to the World Series, and the battle of Pennsylvania will finally happen in this year's NLCS.

World Series: Pittsburgh over Baltimore in six

Go Bucs!

AL East: Boston
AL Central: Minnesota (I can be a homer, damnit)
AL West: Texas
Wild Cards: Detroit, Baltimore (Detroit wins the 1 game playoff)

NL East: Philadelphia
NL Central: Pittsburgh
NL West: Los Angeles
Wild Cards: SF, Miami (Miami wins the playoff)

AL Champion: Minnesota (over Detroit--I see the ALC as being the strongest division in the AL this year)
NL Champion: Philadelphia (over Pittsburgh)

League Champion: Philadelphia (these top teams in the NL are absolutely brutal)

Definitely agree with the AL Central being the top division, I think, though the NL Central doesn't have that one whipping boy team that all the other divisions seem to have this year.

I agree that is can be a three team race in the ALC, and likely comes down to injuries among the three. Texas has a slightly clear path in the AL West with Hamlin gone. Baltimore and Boston will battle with Sander edging out in the end.

NL East: Philadelphia
NL Central: Pittsburgh
NL West: San Francisco
Wild Cards: Miami, Milwaukee

It is a coin flip on the Mia/Philly series but I will lean Philly because of the injuries. I think Jared takes it as the other team in the Central, but their could be a dark horse coming out of the West, though injuries might pile up there too.

ALWC: Minnesota over Boston
NLWC: Miami over Mil

ALDS: Detroit over Minnesota
ALDS: Baltimore over Texas

NLDS: Philly over SF
NLDS: Pittsburgh over Miami

ALCS: Baltimore over Detroit
NLCS: Pittsburgh over Philadelphia

WS: Baltimore over Pittsburgh (it is an even year for JP and I think he is going to fall in the MLB Giants' trend)
