It is perfectly legal for Pats DBs to trip guys that have them beat. It is perfectly legal for Brandon LaFell to grab a DB's arm in the end zone so he can't get the 3rd pick of the game. Go fuck yourself. Another Super Bowl with an * by it. One good thing about global warming, at least the northeast will be under water and we'll be spared people like you

Congrats to the Pats!
Our Offensive Cordinator should be fired..... But at least they gave the Pats the chance to make a play and they did. Why Bevel doesn't run the fucking ball there is crazy! Gave the Pats the game.

Beats the ever loving shit out of me. The game was over, Seattle had won and they gave it away. The closest I can come to an explanation is that if that had happened back when PC was the coach in New England, I would have shrugged and said "That's Pete". I'm not sure what bothers me more, that the NFL makes it impossible to find any statistics in penalties in game, or that so few people seem to know or care about that fact. I love the Pats, but the NFL is at least as crooked as the NBA.

Well Pats won the game, but Seattle handed it to them on a silver platter. The refs don't like calling shit anywhere...this is why I'm glad its over and get to focus more on hockey until April.

Let's not forget that silver platter immediately followed what was possibly the most ridiculous catch any of us have ever seen in a SuperBowl. I still can't get over the Seahawks falling apart at the end of that game. First the fight (I'd much rather root for the team with the deflated balls than the bitches who start a fight after they lose IN THE FUCKING SUPER BOWL!) and then the players throwing the coaching staff under the bus for the play call. It wasn't a terrible play call, it was a poorly executed play (if my memory is correct and they only had 1 timeout left, if they had 2 them yes it was a terrible call). If that pass falls incomplete then the clock stops and with one time out in their pocket they can run twice. Just zero class from Seattle at the end, that's the kind if situation that breaks teams up, now let's see if new Pete Carroll can handle a little internal turmoil.

Ummm...2nd and goal on the 1 yard line with less than 40 secs left, if you run the ball and don't get in, you take the timeout, you still have enough time to run two more plays. Therefore, it was a horrible play call since using more time wasn't a problem and Marshawn Lynch was beasting it for most of the night. Lynch was 1 for 5 from the 1 this season, the Pats were stacked up against the run, and Lynch had struggled off and on against the Pats D all night. Switching it up to the pass is defensible. That said, when you're trying to win a SB, you put it in your best player's hands, and that is definitely Lynch, not Wilson. I'd have run it three times, twice with lynch, once a straight run for Wilson to the left on a play action.

You've got 3 cracks at the end zone and only one time out. That means one of the first two plays has to be a pass, and it's better to call it on the first play where there's some doubt than on the second play where the Pats could sit on it. Poor execution but not the worst call ever.

I would have taken my chances with 3 rushes by Marshawn Lynch...but that doesn't take away from that kid Butler making an insanely great read and the play of his career.

It's always easy to second-guess a play call that doesn't work out, but no way you don't rush there...at least the first time, even if it's a quick rumble by the fullback instead of Lynch. But that close, you don't throw a slant into traffic. Great pick, but shouldn't have been there. If anything, call a pick play to get a guy open in the back or corner of the endzone in single coverage, if you want to pass. But pass into traffic? Yuck.

There was supposed to be a pick, Browner just jammed his guy at the line so he couldn't get there to make it. Again, if you run on second down you would have to throw on third down, there wasn't time to unpile on two goal line runs and you know Wolford would have laid there as long as he could have. If that play wasnt a pass and they didn't score the next play would have been.
