Hey, what's up with the waivers? It's just after 4, I saw that Statia was released at 4:28 yesterday and went in to put a waiver claim on him. I thought waivers was for 24 hours, not 23.5 hours?

It did say it was good until 4:28 and I just copied this from the waiver page within the last minute or so:
The following players are currently on waivers. It is currently Oct 14, 4:19 pm

And of course if Nils was trying to waint until the last minute so nobody above him would trump his claim, we'd have to assume nobody else was doing the same thing Nils was. And I know I talked to one GM who is above Nils in the waiver priority list who was considering making a claim, as well.
Anyways, it looks like the waiver system processes the claim at the begining of the hour that the player was waived in on the previous day. I'd be surprised if this was a "new feature" but who knows.

I was also thinking about a last minute claim ... but in all honesty decided not to ...

I'll look into it guys, I think I noticed it last week at some point, but hadn't had time to check. Can someone handle straightening out Statia specifically?

Got it, simple typo (had 84600 seconds since release instead of 86400), my apologies. It's been fixed for the future, still need someone to clear up for me who should get Statia or thoughts on how to handle it.

My suggestion would be to put him back on waivers for 24 hours and return M's to where he belongs on waiver claim ... that would allow anyone who wants to place a claim do so ...

Makes sense. Would probably be the fairest thing to do.

Statia is already back on waivers, expiring tomorrow at 7:03.
