Let's see if we can move forward on this thing. My buddy who scouts said he will be there 90%, and promised, if he was, he could go over some of what they look for and how they judge...which would be cool.

It provides a lot of time for people to get ahead, and as long as we could get a decent group going, I'm willing to get out in front of hotel rooms at the turn of the year.

Thoughts?

Give me a rough estimate on what the cost would be. I have a week off every year in October

Travel, food, and, if we do it right, assuming hotels will be pretty cheap.

Game tickets are $8 each. We should be able to see hotel rates in December (2 months). This year's AFL opens Tuesday 10/7...so will assume next year's starts 10/5 or 10/6.

Bump since we would need to start planning soon if this is going to happen.

I'm down for any time that's not involving the weekend of October 23-25th.

Hell yea...this is totally my bad. I've not been around a lot lately...

My best guess would be to focus on the first or second week of November. I'd like to take a straw poll of people who'd want to do it for a weekend, and those that would want to do it for a week.

I can do either, but, if I go, I'm going for a week...regardless.

First week in November would be the best for me. Check out vrbo and home away and let's look at getting a house, you can usually get a 4 or 5 bedroom house for a weekend for less than $100 per room in places like Peoria.

Can also look at AirBnB, some good deals on there.

It'll depend on where I'm working. If I end up in Houston like it looks like now, I probably can't do it. If I find something in Kentucky in the next month then I bet I can swing it

I'm out, our fall break is a 3 day weekend. But if anyone wants to attend the Colts/Titans game in Nashville the last weekend in September lemme know, I'll be there

So anyone else out or in? Or just a bunch of maybes still?

Rosters released today. I think I am rooting for the Glendale Desert Dogs!

Yeah I won't be able to do it either. School I was at in Lexington sucked ass so I'm starting a new gig on Friday but won't get a paycheck til October 5 cause they pay once a month there
