We're having some Email and Website trouble with the boxes.
Congratulations are in order to Andrew and Jake, who both slew the proverbial Goliaths (and killed my season in the last week of the season).
Nate and Brandon's Game 5 will be simmed tomorrow. Boxes will be out once we get things straightened out.

I think the sim must have a Madden style no fucking way chip as far as JB is concerned.

So Gotham City takes a tumble in the IBC playoffs, as well as on the national stage (in the MLB).

It appears that the baseball gods are not happy with that franchise.

Congrats to Jake and Andrew on the upsets!

Yep, congrats Andrew.

Now to vent. At some point having the best pitcher in the world on my roster is going to get me a win in the IBC playoffs. 3 out of the last 4 years, I've been in the dance and am 0-5 in games started by Johan Santana with him taking the loss in all 5 games. This includes one especially spectacular loss to Sergio Meattray. Combined with Smoltzy being 0-2 with a gazillion ERA, I guess my shit just doesn't work in the playoffs. Maybe next year.

Shocking upsets ... and, likewise, congratulations to both of you. Seeing both the Yankees and the Blue Jays losing this year in the IBC short divisional series is almost as surprising to me as the Cardinals (after their 83 -78 regular record) winning the World Series in real baseball in 2006.
