lol Phillies at #1 and Yankees at #30. That in itself should tell you how dumb this list is. We may not be spending money to go to games and watch a Triple-A product, but we love our baseball team. Just not some of the players on it.

Marlins at #28. So, does that basically say no matter what, they're not coming? And from personal experience, Rays fans are the worst, sorry Martin. They don't show up until August and September. So, this year, they won't show up at all.

It is what it is. They're ranking sensitivity of attendance to winning/losing. We know Marlins fans aren't any more loyal than Phillies fans, it's just they don't show up regardless of record.

Living in Detroit, I can say the fans up here really like the Tigers, but I can understand why they're so sensitive to winning/losing. Nobody here lives anywhere near the city, so why go on a huge journey into the crappiest city in America just to watch a crappy team (when they were crappy)?

There are always exceptions to every rule, and Nick I'm sure you're one of them, but Phillies fans are big bandwagon fans. Immediate to give up on their squad for a 2-game losing streak, quick to think a 3-game winning streak means a World Series title. Philly fans very often confuse their notion of loyalty and passion with just being an asshole.

Thought this was awesome. Sent this to my friend who's a huge Philadelphia sports fan, his response:

"The ending of your statement was totally unfair. We're loud, obnoxious assholes."

So...my apologies.

Yea we are loud obnoxious ass holes, no shame there. But calling us bandwagon fans because of ticket sales is stupid. Why spend all that money on tickets, parking, and beer to watch a team lose when you can spend 1/5 of the money to watch them lose at a bar? I don't find that being a badwagon fan. It comes down to how much fun it is to go to the park. Right now, it's not fun. That doesn't mean we aren't fans. I'll still go to games to watch Cole or Cliff pitch, but I'm not going to 10-15 games like I would in the past.

Listen to our sports talk radio. We talk Phils all day. We care.

You're obviously going overboard, but I understand the point you are trying to make. But the same could be said for any sports team.
