I know you live there Pat, but come on, anyone that has read anything into that case knows the police covered everything up and that clearly something happened. The guy is clearly a piece of shit, hopefully the chickens come home to roost. The fact that he's been disciplined by the university for shoplifting seafood but nothing was done to him while being investigated for rape is a joke

The police did a terrible job, that's not news to anyone. The girl wasn't exactly the best witness, nor very forthcoming/consistent, either. Jameis clearly hasn't learned and is an idiot, but rape jokes are never smart, nor funny.

Seemed to me like she was very forthcoming and the PD mislead her/badgered her/intimidated her to make her look bad. At least that's what I've gathered from the NY Times article, along with everything else I'd read about it over the past year
