That said.....regardless of how shitty your home team is expected to be, having them "open" on the road sucks!
I have to wait until next week for a "home opener" and by that time the M's could be 0-7.

I think it goes without saying that being a Mariners fan sucks. No need to post here. Try to bask in the glow of the Seahawks for another 6 months...

It seems like the Cardinals don't get to start the season at home that often.

Oh, don't worry. It will take longer than 6 months for that glow to wear off. Like you said, it has to carry us through the summer here in Seattle until the Seahawks start practicing again.
If only someone would buy the M's that is truly interested in winning. Oh, what a great day THAT would be.

What do you mean? Fans just want to watch Robinson Cano. Who cares what else is around him.

It really is amazing what a difference it makes to have owners who give a shit. It's even better when you don't have to build them a stadium with taxpayer money.

King Felix resents that remark.

Oh boy, 15 times this year Seattle fans will get 2 guys worth watching (says the guy who had 3 M's starters on his team going into this offseason)
BTW, anybody watching the Pirates-Cubs game? Who designed the Cubs new road jersey? Looks like a state issued uniform designed in Microsoft Word.

Hey, now! I'm looking forward to watching Brad Miller, as well. So there is at least three..........and then there is Taijan Walker that is going to be pitching.......oh wait, what's that? The M's have another young stud pitcher with a sore shoulder??? There is a shocker! Shouldn't they just schedule his surgery now! #endrant

Heck the Cardinals didn't even get a home opener after winning the World Series

Honestly I think Zunino will be a very good one, and I'm not just saying that because I drafted him 3rd overall a couple years back. The glove is there, and the transition for catchers to become big league hitters is always a bit longer than other positions.
I still have some faith that Smoak and Saunders will be solid, too.

No, MLB needed them to help unveil the monstrosity they built in Miami.

Good for Grady Sizemore. Hits a single in his first AB after two years, then hits a HR in his second AB. The wheels could come off tomorrow, but this has got to feel good.

Opening day has come and gone for each team. Does this mean we go back to being boring?
