Only made three picks this year. Pretty normal for me...
#19 - Lance McCullers
Passed on Ryu and Puig. Not smart. I did use McCullers in a package to get McCutchen, so can't be disappointed about Puig. McCullers is a beast, though, and I don't think he will have a problem being a #2 SP.
#75 - Walker Wieckel
High upside pitcher, he didn't last long on my team. As soon as I drafted him Jake sent me a message. I wanted Maurer so a deal was finished pretty quickly. Maurer was traded over the summer in a deal for Dan Haren who got another nice projection.
#97 - Mitch Gueller
Big RH pitcher, did not see any success in the NY Penn League. Gave up a lot of hits/walks and struck out very few. Not ready to call this a bust yet since he was only in his first season as a 19 y/o, but future is bleak.
