Pat G (surprise!) asked about Halladay.
Roy Halladay (arm) will not pitch again this season.
It comes after he lasted just three batters during Monday's start before being removed due to a "dead arm." Halladay also noted that he's recently been battling an illness related to his diet. The good news is that he's not feeling any pain in his shoulder or elbow, but his Phillies career, in all likelihood, is over. The 36-year-old will be a free agent this winter. Sep 23 - 10:54 PM
Even though he topped out at 83mph yesterday and lasted three batters, I don't really see how we can bench him for a dead arm. It's obvious he's hurting, but with the injury announced just as a dead arm, it doesn't really feel quite right to make JB bench him.

I think if the Phillies were in it, his arm would have a lot more life left in it.

Here's more:
Halladay, who is 4 months removed from shoulder surgery, spoke with Dr. Neal ElAttrache, the doctor who performed the mid-May procedure, following last night's game.

"He said, 'You just need rest,' " Halladay said. "You need 3 weeks or more of rest. After the surgery and the whole process of coming back, I only had 3, 4 [weeks] where I did nothing. He said he was surprised I was going to last this long, that I wasn't going to get tired sooner."
That's about all I can find. Not sure if that sways anybody in any direction, but that quote was brought to my attention today
