If we're going to make judgement calls, there should be also a standard. I'd say that it should be two weeks.

To start, I'll explain how I generated the list.
- Any player who was listed on rotoworld.com as day to day I did not consider for the list.
- Players injured less than a week ago I did not consider for the list.
- Of the remaining players who were listed as 'out' if it sounded at all possible or likely that they would play before they hit 15 days on the DL, then I didn't include them on the list.
- Pitchers who were listed as out due to shoulder or elbow problems I didn't consider as being likely to return or as having been shut down just because the team was out of contention.

Any feedback on these particular guidelines would be appreciated.

By the way, it appears that I started a new thread. I meant to respond to the one already in progress. Maybe we can move these two posts into that one and delete this.
