Hey guys,
I know there are a good number of us in the Northeast, and I was thinking maybe a bunch of us could meet up at the Futures Game this summer? Tickets are very cheap and available. Luckily, this is the one event of the ASG that takes place on a weekend (Sunday prior to the ASG).

I will definitely be going. Hopefully some of you can make it down, if you havent been to Citi Field yet, its quite nice. Game is in the middle of the day, so would be pretty easy to drive there and back in the same day.

If you're not in the Northeast, maybe that's the perfect weekend to visit NYC!

Hope to see some of you there, first round is on me.

I'm looking at buying a AllStar strip and doing all the events. It's expensive, but a once in a lifetime deal for me being at Citi field.

Seeing Nils one time (mainly just to confirm that he and Bren were different people) in 2003 is more than enough for me.

I don't know what that is, but it sounds awful.

A former New Englander who does not know what Shake Shack is? Shame on you Gillespie, shame on you.

I figured it was some Citi Field concession stand...didn't know it was a restaurant. And, I've never lived anywhere close to one...not my fault. Website does make it look good, but not good enough to pay to fly to NYC to get it.

They have one in Miami, too.

That would be a 7-hour drive from here. No burger is that good. I'll stick to Five Guys 15 minutes down the road.

See I don't like 5 Guys at all. Very greasy, I don't find it any different than a Hardee's burger and too overpriced. I haven't had the opportunity to try In-N-Out yet, that's about 30% of the reason I want to go to LA to visit Gabe. For my money you can't beat Culver's for a fast food burger, but I have to drive 20-30 miles for it. Usually get a craving every 2 or 3 months and do it

I love how this post about meeting Nils got hijacked into a burger conversation. Not saying Five Guys is the best. In fact, there are probably 10 places in the Dallas-Fort Worth area alone with much better burgers. But for a chain, it's pretty good. I've never found it overly greasy.

In-N-Out isn't that creative unless you know their secret menu. However there are a few pubs out here that have some awesome hamburgers, but that applies all over if you are willing to travel a little to find those specialty shops.

Is Shake Shack even that good? I've seen them when in NYC and at Citi Field, but never bothered since the lines are always crazy.

I'd be down for the Futures Game. Haven't made it to Citi yet.

Francesa is a genius but sometimes he could really use the Dog cackling in the background to shut him up.
