I'd like to announce to the league tonight that we will re-evaluate franchise moving post- World Series and that the Rule V draft is a definate no go for 2007 but we welcome Nate's mock draft to try to sway votes (even thyough as long as I'm an ExCo, I will oppose it) so I would like to say that in the current proposal by Nate that it is highly dubious that it will pass.
I think these are necessary to the league to make these announcements instead of leaving everybody hanging and people have expressed this as well.

I also thought it was the announcement (I should have looked more closely at the thread title, i.e., Forum Index -ExCo General) ... especially when I read read Dan's "aight" right afterwards.RedSox wrote:Oops, i thought this WAS the announcement...
I think Nate has backed off his proposal and, as I stated, I will not participate in a mock draft ...

Also, I spoke with Nate at great length about his mock draft the other night, and he told me that I'd removed his desire to use the mock draft as a tool to sway people and preferred to still do it, but just as something to satisfy curiousity and not to sway opinion at large. I don't know if he's since changed his mind again though.
