Figure we should probably get ahead of the curve here. If the Yankees activate Gardner but can only use him as a runner, how does that impact his IBC eligibility?

Feels like we've encountered this one before. We might need to look that up?

My gut reaction is that if a guy is playing I'm not sure how we can make him ineligible.

If he's active we can't prohibit him from playing

If he is activated in real life he is legal to play in the IBC ...
