Wondering about eligibility...he's been on the DL for a month and made several rehab starts at AAA including after a spell of dizziness, here's Rotoworld's latest update:

Jair Jurrjens will not return to the Braves this year.
Jurrjens is healthy, but the Braves don't feel he'd be an upgrade to their current roster. The 26-year-old right-hander registered a brutal 6.89 ERA and 1.86 WHIP across 48 1/3 major league innings this season. He seems likely to be non-tendered by Atlanta this winter. Sep 4 - 5:05 PM

If ruled eligible, I would think he shouldn't be activated until this Sunday?

If he's still on the disabled list, I don't think we can let him play. If the Braves activated and optioned him, and the minor league season just ran out, sure.

Yeah if he's on the DL it is a cut and dry issue

Atlanta Braves optioned RHP Jair Jurrjens to Gwinnett Braves on 9/3.

Looks like he's good to go.
