Our trade deadline is fast approaching, and is Friday, Aug. 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET. All trades must be submitted to OOPSS by then. It is not your fault if the TRC is out and about on a Friday night or asleep, but the trade has to be at the TRC by then.

Also, a player MUST be on your roster by Sept. 1 in order to be eligible for the playoffs.

I'll make this as easy to possible to break down, for anybody that forgot.

If I sign Shane Robinson Aug. 31, 11:38 pm, he is eligible to play in October for me.
If I trade for Chris Tillman, and the deal is at TRC by 11:59 p.m. Aug 31 but not approved till Sept. 1, he is eligible to play.
If I sign Shane Robinson Sept. 1, 2:11 AM ET, he is ineligible to play in the postseason, but can play the month of Sept. for me.

A reminder that trades may still go into the OOPSS system and be processed, but they will not go into the database. Really easy example, I will have Eric Young through the remainder of this year, and Colorado will hang onto Luke Hochevar.

We decided to allow this five years ago (here: viewtopic.php?p=4636#4636) to help keep interest going in the league throughout the entire year. So, for those still looking to wheel and deal, go for it.
