Mark Ellis remains hospitalized following surgery Saturday to relieve pressure in his left leg.Ellis could wind up missing six weeks of action, depending on the doctors' diagnose of his knee and ankle condition. The second baseman reportedly might have needed his left leg to be amputated if they had waited four or five more hours to perform the surgery.
