Probably need to establish some rules (though I plan to have all of this automated by next year's draft given how much of a pain it's been this year).

I've been adding the new picks as their next available slot (hence why some teams have a 7th and not a 6th) because the draft can't handle going back in time to make picks.

Also, seems kind of ridiculous (but maybe it's just me because I'm trying to admin it) to have guys say they're done and then continue picking later (and could potentially create a headache for TRC in the future).

Thoughts?

I think you should have to declare how many extra picks you want no later than halfway through the 5th round, after that just sign the guy as a free agent.

Also yeah, when you say you're done, that's it, no going back

Fine with me ... I wanted another guy and was just going to pick him up as A FA but this draft just kept dragging on and since I never said I was done I figured I'd ask for another pick but you can skip it ...

Sounds like a good plan. A team can always ask for extras and then not use them, which would be okay.
