Dan, when can I change your logo to the hideous Miami Marlins? I'm not sure the rest of the league is okay with having to look at that

If they went all orange I'd be down with it. But the huge, ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly M on the hats? Yuck.

Just to make it the most annoying thing of all time to have to look at my team, can the site play that Will Smith Miami song every time my logo appears?

Just change it and don't tell me. Like ripping off a band-aid. I just learned to deal with the teal, and somehow they came up with something worse. My speedy OFs will be like athletic oompa-loompas flying around the giganormous outfield at the new Big Orange Slicer.

At least now I'll stop using the stupid teal text in all my posts. So that's nice for you guys.

you'll have this to look forward to when you hit a homer at least.

That looks like a carnival cruise ship vomited.

Updated. Not even hideous unis or a monstrosity like that in the OF can stop Tulo. Beast.

Updated 2/7 with new ZiPs for Buehrle in Miami...

Buehrle (3.69 ERA, 109 ERA+), Morneau (116 ERA+), Aramis (117 OPS+), Joyce (118 OPS+) are available as are prospects like J. Cosart, W. Flores.

Updated.

Kinsler's Vg/89 rng/err rtg gives the Fish a Vg at 5 positions and no starting position player with an err rating over 99. Watch out for JV and Buehrle in the IBC NL Cy race this year, especially if Miami opts to throw Nyjer Morgan's Ex range out there in CF or RF.

Looking to move Aramis (117 OPS+, Fr/99 def) with a pitcher or prospect(s) for a 3B with a solid bat and Av or better D rtg. Would move Cosart, Surkamp, Oberholtzer, Flores, et al with one of my SP (Buehrle, Scherzer, Sanchez to name a few) for the right SP upgrade. Also could use a closer.

Updated w/ all ZiPs.

At this point I'm satisfied with what I think is a pretty well-rounded club heading into Opening Day. A few disappointing projections give me a little less SP depth than I thought I'd have, but the Fish are pretty strong 1-8 at the dish and in the field. Could stand to add a #1/2 SP to slot between JV and Buehrle, an established closer, a defensive upgrade at 3B, a LH or switch RF who's either an offensive or defensive upgrade over Joyce (118 OPS+, Av D rng) and a solid LH bench bat (kinda regret cutting both Garrett Jones and Matsui in the offseason). Also possibly looking for an offensive upgrade in CF. Most of my prospects are available in trade as well.

Available:

A. Ramirez (117 OPS+)
M. Joyce (118 OPS+)
M. Scherzer (105 ERA+)
M. Beuhrle (109 ERA+)
E. Surkamp (101 ERA+)
J. Sanchez (95 ERA+)
J. Cosart
W. Flores

et al

Looking primarily for SP upgrades but also interested in adding closer and maybe a big LH bat

Just made a spreadsheet then copy-pasted it into an image file in paint. Then you have to put it on the web somewhere.

Even worse, I'll probably trade for him back after he has his one awesome start of the year and then he'll go back to being terrible.

Kinda hard winning a Cy Young starting only 23 games.

So is walking 7 in the course of a no-no. Burnett goes 15-3 and the Buccos miraculously climb up from poopville to win the NLC. Improbable? Yes. Impossible?!?!?... also yes.

Updated with full prospect list and semi-legible fancy depth chart. Anybody know a good free graphics program for Mac (like Paint.NET for PC)? My new computer has an awesome giant screen but infuriatingly tiny keyboard for a big-fingered goon like myself.

Still looking to deal for a young 3B and #2 SP.
