Bright Lights in a Brutal Season

My beloved Cubbies have started the IBC Season a depressing 3-6, and management feels that it's important we point out to our fans some of the bright spots in our organization's future.

Jordan Walden - 23 year old righty reliever - Angels Closer.

Jordan has made nine appearances so far in this young season, and has yet to allow a run, earned or otherwise. 0 ERA, 0.84 WHIP. Jordan is a vital part of a brutal bullpen that's being assembled here in Chicago.

Gaby Sanchez - 27 year old righty - Marlins 1B

.340/.419/.472 on the year so far.

Jose Tabata - 22 year old righty - Pirates OF

.310 .420 .517 .938 - 3 HR and 8 SB. 12 K/10 BB.

Jose finished last season on fire, and he's started this season exactly the same way. He's driving in runs and being destructive on the basepaths. We're excited about his future at the top of our lineup.
