Looks like it's full steam ahead for ZiPS - haven't heard much from BP/PECOTA, not surprising.

Anyway, look for the disc to be released around opening day. Szymborski tweeted yesterday:

The DMB disk is shooting for just before opening day - since no April update, it made sense to get the rosters/lineups/players latest

So, if it's right on the heels of opening day and we have to get organized for a weekend or something, I'll simply sim two days per day until we're caught up, but we should be starting on time.

You will still need V.10 of the DMB software if you plan on sending MPs or playing H2H. If not, well, then it's just more work for me and slightly less control for you.

Dan's latest update suggests we'll have the disc later this week, so we will start on time. Please make sure you get V10, and if you aren't getting it, contact me so we can set up something for lineups throughout the year. If not, I'll assume you've purchased it or stumbled upon a copy.

Given Opening Day is just a day away and we've yet to receive the disc, we're not going to be simming Thursday.

Instead, we'll start our season on Monday, provided we've the disc by Friday. I know I don't normally sim on Monday's, but Opening Day has always been an exception. I will sim two games per day until we are caught up, which shouldn't take too long - will just be one database cycle. I'll post a refresher on the simming and H2H schedule later this week, but it should be second nature to you guys by now.

Any updates on the disc and/or season? Have they still not sent out the projections disc?

It's not out yet. Hoping early this week.

For the record, I'll have more of an update of how we'll handle everything probably Wednesday afternoon. I'll be a bit busy tomorrow - and even if we get the disc tomorrow, it'll take a few days before we start simming.
