I am presuming he wants as many he can/will get and he has plenty of open roster slots as we have 36 to 37 players on our rosters.

Jared will be traveling and not as available as he has been.

I am just surprised that these lists are having to be "publically published" ... seems others can take advantage of some GMs' work.

I agree. A system should be developed that allows for a more secretive process.

I deleted Jared's post until a ruling from Bren, Jim will repost it when he gets a chance.

My claims in order of prefernce are:

Scott Strickland
Juan Padilla
Jermaine van Buren
Javon Moran
Alexis Gomez
Shawn Kohn
Norris Hooper

I have 37 players on my roster and will need to drop no one.

Mike Ekstrom can come off the rangers list as he was part of the mini-draft and I have him.

Just wanted to make sure that everybody knows that the roster limit is the based on its size according to OOPSS, not the roster size in DMB.

Is Alex Escobar available to be claimed? He's on a roster in the OOPSS.

I think it is understood that since the database is not completely up-to-date a number of these claims will have to be doublechecked against OOPSS ... and/or the minidraft results.

Okay I was just making sure in that case because Escobar would have been my #1 option if he were available. At any rate I see Nils has identified him.

I'll throw my hat in the pile:

Joe Dillon
Scott Strickland
Chris Oxspring

If I get any, I'll drop:

Brian Stokes
&/or
John Mabry

Was the list, as I assumed by the previous posts, supposed to be posted by noon?

It's bad enough that I went through the trouble of going over every unsigned free agent just to post my list publicly but if I then posted it days ahead of time.....then what's the point of doing my own work?

Yeah it was confusing. I believe what Bren was cryptically saying was that the freeze was over today at noon, when a 24 hour claim period started. The claims won't be executed until after noon tomorrow.

Anyway, while I'm at it, I'll go ahead and state the first claim so others can go off that:

Tigers claim Hiram Bocachica.

May have a couple more to add but that will be the first priority.
