Max -6- Scherzer (P) was released at 8:29 pm on 4/25/2007. Four teams, the D-Backs, Tigers, Padres and Yankees, placed a claim on him.

The Padres, by virture of having the lowest waiver priority claim, have the successful claim and will release no one due to having a roster opening. They have been moved to the bottom of the waiver priority list - an updated view can be seen at: memberlist.php.

Sergio Mitre (P) was released at 3:18 pm on 4/26/2007. Four teams, the Angels, Rockies, Cubs and White Sox, placed a claim on him.

The White Sox, by virture of having the lowest waiver priority claim, have the successful claim and will release Jason Dubois (OF). They have been moved to the bottom of the waiver priority list - an updated view can be seen at: memberlist.php.

Travis Wood (SP) was released at 12:03 am on 5/23/2007. Three teams, the D-Backs, Tigers (actually the Tigers signed him and released him - thanks Brett - and the Dodgers, placed a claim on him.

The D-Backs have the successful claim as they are lower claim priority list then the Tigers and the Dodgers' claim was placed after the 24 hour waiver claim period had expired. The D-backs will release Michael Aubrey (1B) and they have been moved to the bottom of the waiver priority list - an updated view can be seen at: memberlist.php.

Note: actually the D-Backs are now at 29 and the Cubs at 30 as Wood was released 57 minutes earlier then Castillo.

NOTE: The Giants recently signed Jimenez but will have to release him as the Royals placed a timely waiver claim.
