There's a few things that either need to be announced or reiterated so here they are.

1- BP is going to leave the AL Central and Mo Town and take over the Texas Rangers. Most of you already know that the Rangers are his favorite team, and if you don't, then now you do.

2- Our 2010 draft start date will be Jan 1, 2011. As always, each team has 24 hours to make their selection, Shawn will have the queue ready and all that. We've drafted December 1 the past few years but starting it on January 1 will allow the most time for draft research and information as well as avoid international player confusion.

3- As stated in the other thread, we'll be holding ExCo votes for the two rotating spots. Jim, Brett, Shawn and myself will not be leaving ExCo since we've permanent spots but Aaron and Andrew's spots are up for election. Again, if you're interested, post in that thread please.

4- Once we've got the ExCo set, we'll hold a TRC election. We're going to try to aim to keep the TRC and ExCo separate.

Finally, this goes with number one, but if you've not had the chance to move or if Detroit is your favorite team, send me or another ExCo member a PM or something. We will look at other teams moving with Brett headed to Texas.

How about instead of saying something vague like we're aiming to keep the TRC and the ExCo separate we just make a ruling one way or the other?

Not sure if we started a TRC thread, but I would like to be on the new one.

I believe the intention is to settle the make-up of the ExCo first - and then deal with the new TRC ...

Jim is correct. This way we can avoid an overlap.

Ah that makes sense. Also Brett, look forward to battling you next year, sorry I forgot to mention that earlier.

Great, now I have three teams in my division that get to beat up on me next year while I try to turn this franchise around. Welcome to the AL West Brett. :(
