Since I found my crappy team 2.5 games back, I need to address my biggest weakness and give the playoffs a shot.

Relief Pitching Needed


I will consider other areas, but my pen sucks ass, and my starters could use an upgrade too.


Available:

The Good:

Okajima (my closer for next year doesn't do shit for me this year)
Brian Giles (not crazy about trading his .400 OBP, but I will if I have to)
Jason Jennings (he's fallen out of favor in Colorado after faking injuries, need SP back)

The Bad:

Cliff Floyd (19 HR in 82 games for me, probably shouldn't deal him)
Miquel Batista (has decent numbers, good back end guy, gets nosebleeds in Colorado)
Scott Moore (Big stick, no where to play in Colorado. Ideal DH)
Chris Oxspring (nice projection, not a good fit for Coors)


The Ugly:

Jose Vidro (better than other bench guys out there)
Juan Uribe (27 Year old SS with VG pop against RHP & LHP)
Darin Erstad (Awesome D in CF & 1B, good speed)

Others could be available, in the right deal.

Gone are:

I've got 4 RP's coming back to try to solve Coors.

These guys can definitely help as a platoon/bench player for contenders, and fill in starters for many teams.

Looking for mid-level prospects, guys that can help next year in the OF or SP, or guys who help this year, but will suck next year.

Not looking to rebuild. I either want pieces I can use, or pieces I can trade.

Somebody has to be able to use Brandon Medders...27 years old.... .209 BA against RH.

or Edward Mujica...23 years old...and a healthy 3.86 era for this year projection.

Both are available for low-mid level spects.
