I don't know if you guys bothered to check Zips on any of these guys, but Posada is horrendous and Guman pretty much sucks as well. This trade isn't terrible at all for either team. Joba is an enigma and Fuentes is an A ball prospect. I think everyone should just keep their opinions to themselves.

Guzman: 99 OPS+ (for a SS, I'll take that)
Posada: 104 OPS+ (yep, that's horrendous...totally horrendous...)
Chamberlain: 107 ERA+ (and in a world where the "Joba rules" don't really exist...)
Fuentes: 1st round draft choice...there's value there
versus
Jones: 132 OPS+ (he's a talent...and he'll probably retiring after the season, by the looks of the reporting. the PERFECT asset for a club that went 65-97 last year)
Punto: 76 OPS+ (seriously...he's BELOW replacement level offensively and adequate in the field and subject to a myriad of nagging injuries. Oh and he's also 32)
Niese: 95 ERA+ (the one guy a rebuilding team SHOULD go after...but you traded away a guy in Chamberlain who's a bit more of a sure thing...great logic)
