Dave told me he'd want to do the minidraft, so barring some unforeseen circumstance, we'll have Nate's roster and Dave's roster drafting together. I've personally asked Ben, Brandon, Lape and Gudim and nobody else seems interested in drafting. Kelly already expressed his interest in building his roster up, so he doesn't want to do it either.

IMO, this is a great thing that Dave wants to. It'll strengthen that joke division up just by adding a couple of good players to it and since Dave has mostly young players/prospects it'll be a nice balance with Nate's roster of older MLB players/no prospects in the draft.

I'd be willing to oversee the draft as I have in the past as well.

So if I wanted to go into the minidraft I'd have a real shot at getting Hector Luna ...

I thought about it too just for that very reason. Though I was really just looking for the chance to have Henricus van den Hurk. Shucks.

Alright. The mini-draft thread has been up for a week and only two people have expressed an intent to draft. Dave and his Angels are going to and in a surprise move it looks like Shawn and his Dodgers will as well. Since it seems that there are no issues with bringing Steven into the league, I'll get him setup with his account(s) tonight at some point barring any objections from ExCo as well as announce the minidraft, the moves and start to get this offseason ball rolling.
