The Cubs are in the market for a starting shortstop, big league closer, and a defensive 3B. Any combination of the following are available...
Jeff Clement - C/1B - Hit 21 HR in AAA this year. Looks poised to start the year with the big league club in PNC in 2010.
Jason Donald - SS - On all the prospect lists. No longer blocked by Mr. Jimmy Rollins now that he's in the Indians Org.
Jorge Cantu - 1B/3B - .289/.345/.443 - 100 RBI
Jose Lopez - 2B - Lopez ranks fifth among second basemen (25) in home runs, and he's second in RBI with a career-high 96.
Allen Craig - 3B - Craig is the front-runner for Cardinals Minor League Player of the Year. He has hit at every level and this year was no different. Remember his name come th spring - .318/.371/.54^ and 26 HR this season.
Rajai Davis - CF/RF - A true leadoff hitter for a big league club. With the A's this season he went .305/.360/.423 with an impressive 41 SB.
Michael Aubrey - 1B - Could factor into Baltimore's 2010 1B situation. +800 OPS after his callup.
Others: Nick Hundley, Wilkin Ramirez, Chris Snyder, Juan Miranda
