You're clearly not watching enough Giants baseball. Imagine young Vlad Guerrero with a little less power only with more plate coverage and less discipline, plus he's shaped like a panda.

Really? I'm shocked there is a player in the major leagues with less discipline at the plate than Big Bad Vlad. Not only have I seen Vlad swing at pitches that were literally above his head......did't he just the other week get an RBI single on a flair to left center field on a curveball that bounced a foot in front of the plate?

Vlad has to be the most undisciplined hitter in the history of the game and the best "bad ball" hitter ever, all in one.

Pablo "Kung Fu Panda" rocks though.

I didn't think it was possible either, but I've seen Sandoval smack line drives into the gap on pitches at his ankles, I've seen him hit groundballs in the hole off of balls over his head. He's a nut.

I'm going to have to catch a Giants game then. That will be a sight to see.

I know that he's a good hitter and I've seen plenty of him, so I don't have to imagine. I'm pretty sure he was voted that because it's so rare and exciting that someone on that team comes to the plate who can actually hit. Imagine if you had to watch eight guys who hit like Kyle Schwartz from South Park, then Jermaine Dye came up. I'm pretty sure he'd be 2nd or 3rd on this list.

Adam Dunn is still getting screwed. Not top 3 in power or plate discipline. What does he have to do?

He shouldn't hate baseball so much.
