2009 IBC All Star Game

by Cardinals
By the end of this week or so, if everybody could look over their rosters and post guys to be nominated for the all star game, that would be cool. We'll do something with it again this year, vote on the starters then the managers choose the rest of the rosters.

The White Sox will nominate OF Nelson Cruz hitting .281/.355/.548 with 20 HR, 58 Runs, 60 RBIs and 10 SB as well as 2B Alexi Ramirez hitting .278/.300/.472 with 17 HR, 54 Runs, 55 RBIs and 11 SB.
Understanding the non-closers are rarely selected I would still point out that JP Howell has been lights out with a 38/14 K/BB in 28.1 IP resulting in a 0.32 ERA and 0.92 WHIP while earning 6 holds and 1 save.
Finally, though he has not been a member of the Pale Hose very long, CL Bobby Jenks has been 5 for 5 in save opportunities helped by his 8/3 K/BB in 8.1 IP and 0.60 WHIP.
I am not nominating either pitcher - just sort of saying "Thanks boys for a job well done!"

Jim Thome - 1/2 DH - .280/.415/.600, 14 hr, 35 rbi, 150 ab's - SICK!
