On 5-10-09 in a battle of AL Beast teams NYY beat Baltimore 1-0 in 11 innings.
In perhaps the pitching outing of the year thus far Javy Vazquez was brilliant. Going 10 innings and 130 pitching with the line:
4 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, 13 K's
The solo run was provided by a Ryan Howard blast that is still trying to land.
