OOPSS/DMB 2009 Transition

I've completed the transition of the new database and its statuses into OOPSS.

A complete log of changes can be found here: OOPSS_Update_2009.html

What you need to do:
1. Check the right column of the top section for any of your players having been duplicated.
2. Check the bottom section for any of your players who are actually in the database who have been designated as 0- players.
3. Post here for DOBs or sim statuses on your roster that you feel is incorrect or either of the above (basically help us find any errors)

Jonathon LuCroy should be draftee for me. Alex Cobb and Randall Delgado should be 0 players now instead of 6 players, unless we're just keeping 6's the way they are to keep it simple

I signed Darrow, Pena, & O'Day to my roster, and now we just need the released "0"/O'day deleted from the system.

0-ODay Darren MR 10/22/1982

I signed Blake Wood to my roster and need the 6-Wood (released) deleted from the system.

This is likely a duplicate:

Created OOPSS Player: Eric OFlaherty
Modified Eric O'Flaherty to Eric 0-O'Flaherty

in ZIPs as UID 27451

This just needs to be adjusted:

Modified Rick VandenHurk to Rick 0-VandenHurk

in ZIPs as UID 27802 (Henricus van den Herk)

I need Luis 0-Montanez to be modified to Luis Montanez

in ZIPs as UID 28183.

Also Omar 0-Poveda to be modified to Omar Poveda

in Zips as UID 1165.

Looks like Dan 6-Murphy needs to be modified to Dan Murphy

in ZIPs as UID 28177

Thanks!

Ehren Wasserman is in the database...27405

Ivan DeJesus signed.

Ivan 0- De Jesus should be deleted.

6-Drabek, Kyle
6-Pimentel, Stolmy
6-Rohrbough, Cole

should be 0-'s now if we're going that direction.

Thanks.

Cody Johnson and Ehren Wasserman have doubles. I signed the database players of each like I saw other teams, but they will need to be deleted.

David Freese has a double now. There is still an -6 and now the newly created in database player. I'll go ahead and drop the -6 from my roster and pick up the new OOPSS Freese if you'd like.

You've also put Kila Ka'aihue on the wrong team. Kila is on the Mariners. His brother Kala Ka'aihue is the one on the Cubs. The Kila that you created has the wrong birthday too. You gave Kila, Kala's birth year. It should be.

Kila Ka'aihue - 3/29/1984 (Mariners)

Kala Ka'aihue - 3/29/1985 (Cubs)

Josh Kroeger needs to be removed from my team on the database. He was released during waivers.

OK. Release him on your end for when you send an MP in.

There are now 2 RJ Swindle's, the 0 guy can go.

Already sent it.

He's just farmed...if he's still on my roster on the next DB, I'll drop him myself I guess.

Just a reminder that this is still a roster issue sitting out there. Don't want it to get lost in the shuffle.

My apologies for the delay in handling these, my schedule this quarter is basically the busiest I've ever been, so finding time for the IBC has been hard. That being said, I've cleared some time tonight and tomorrow to handle the outstanding issues (stats, standings, duplicates). Thanks for bearing with me.

No problems. Everyone has a life to live outside the IBC. I just wanted to pull that one back to the end of the thread so it didn't get lost and end up becoming an issue later if someone tried to create a Kala Kaaihue because he wasn't in the OOPSS database.

If anyone is looking for up to date reports, since the site is big time messed up right now, here is the URL to use: reports/2009/

OK guys, if you posted an issue here, it should be fixed now. Please check that you didn't lose that player in the process.

Looks like the Rangers moved to the NLW

And they can keep them as far as I'm concerned.

Fixed, thanks. Also fixed the games display. I think that fixes all issues related to the new season disk, if you see anywhere on the site that is messed up, please let me know.
