Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski announced Wednesday morning that Rick Porcello has earned a spot in the starting rotation.

Porcello who has never pitched higher than A ball, apparently is up for the challenge.

Only good news if he's actually ready. I'm hoping for the same from Cahill and Anderson.
