Can't believe King of the Hill got the ax. I figured it had a few years left in it. Great, underappreciated show that flew under the radar because it got preempted because of football a lot. I think King of the Hill may be looked at in 30 years as this generation's Andy Griffith Show

Screw Mike Judge from going from Beavis & Butthead to that crap. At least he gave us Office Space, arguably the greatest movie of the 90's.

They go hand in hand. NY'ers don't like watching cartoons about white trash.

I once heard Adam Carolla describe Step by Step (which holds up surprisingly well by the way, check it out on the Family Channel at 9am if you ever happen to be up) this way and I think it applies perfectly to King of the Hill: It was saved by its mediocrity, it just sort of hung around not getting a ton of attention either positively or negatively and had pretty neutral ratings, so no one really noticed it and next thing you know it had been around forever.

I think saying that King of the Hill was the cartoon equivalent of Step by Step is the best comparison ever made on this board. Every week Step by Step was good for one solid laugh, and one mediocre laugh while you were passing time between Urkel, Mr. Cooper, and whatever the hotter shows going on at that time were.

Talk about a show that didn't hold up, for the life of me I can't figure out why I liked Full House when I was little. There is nothing funny or entertaining about that show. Step By Step does hold up pretty good though. I think what hurt them was the fact that Al got hot and they tried to still make it like the daughter that was supposed to be the hot one was still the hot one

Looks like she's kept busy with guest spots on TV-drama's and staring roles on shows that get canceled 3 episodes in.

Okay after looking at Super Capers, Michael Rooker, Ron Howard's brother, Zeus from No Holds Barred, I mean, how can you not want to see that movie?

I got like a third of the way through the Hottie and the Nottie on TV the other night, if I'd known it was her I would have stuck around through the rest of it.

ABC, slated to debut Mike Judge’s new animated sitcom “The Goode Family” at midseason, is reportedly in talks with Fox’s TV production arm to air new episodes of Judge’s old series, “King of The Hill.”

The Fox network announced last week it was cancelling “Hill” following its current, 13th season.

Ratings are still good for "King" but the Judge series (unlike "South Park") still has a nine-month lag between script and air.
