I was thinking about this earlier and Aaron mentioning it cinched it for me. What are your top 5 Liquors or mixed drinks?

John Jameson & Sons (on the rocks)
Makers & Diet (always earns me a disparaging remark from my bourbon-loving southern friends)
Stoli & Soda
Redbreast Irish Whiskey (neat)
Dewars & water

Those would be what I typically order, though I prob have a Jamo in my hand about 90% of the time (against my better judgment 100% of the time). My favorite booze of all time is "Midleton Very Rare," a $150 bottle of irish whiskey distilled by jameson and really really smooth.

Z, I finally tried Hendricks Gin last week after a few of my friends wouldn't shut up about it, and I'm fully on board. So good I might have to start ordering G&T's again. Do they carry Hendrick's at most bars now or can you only get it at the package sto?

I'd say many bars carry Hendrick's now, not most. It has a massive cult following (consider me in), and bars are starting to pick up on that. It's worth every penny.

1. Margarita
2. Jim Beam straight
3. Hurricane
4. Tequila Sunrise
5. Screwdriver

Waiting for Christmas to get here and am going to go down and tour the Beam distillery, along with Maker's possibly. Each has a free tasting room at the end of the tours, which are also free. If I can't find a teaching job next year I'm going to try and get on at one of them, cause I've always wanted to work at the distilleries

Was telling Aaron, for any margarita fans, try a Black Margarita sometime. Instead of the triple sec/cointreau/marnier, use chambord. It's a little more expensive - but it's amazing. When I was bartending I would tell the customers that if they didn't like it, I'd refund it. Swear on my mother, not one refund.

I don't touch liquor/mixed drinks anymore...too many nights that I don't recall. I'll stick with my beer and Italian reds!

1. Hurricanes (but it's really hard to find a good one outside of New Orleans)
2. Car Bombs (I love them but its hard to drink them all night)
3. Jack and Coke (anyone remember the old Booty Call animations from Romp? A sentimental choice for obvious reasons)
4. Gin and Tonic (always a good standby choice)
5. TBD (it used to be margaritas but I had one too many in Mexico, so now I'm looking for a new one, vodka Red Bull is probably the clubhouse leader but open to suggestions)

I'm a hard-pops guy, don't drink much beer, but I like to keep it simple:

1. Jagermeister (shots or sipping on the rocks, whatever)
2. Jager-bombs (see above)
3. Vodka w/Pineapple juice
4. Screwdriver
5. Jack Daniels w/lemonade (not sweet like a whiskey sour, I like it sour and tart)
